I Haven't Fallen off the Face of the Earth, Honestly!

I have just been busy with a few other areas of my life, mainly Northwood Slice of Life Photography & Art Prints and my newest baby Designs By Christina where you will discover a growing, and UNIQUE (if I do say so myself!) collection of Adobe Photoshop Blends and more. So stop on by one of my sites and feel free to leave me a message, or ask a question!

LucisArt Review

I was fortunate enough to be able to write a full review of an amazing set of filters that works with various photo editing programs such as Elements and CS2. The review of LucisArt can be read in it's entirety by clicking right here! . Be sure to drop me a line and let me know what you think of this amazing way to create outstanding photo creations from your own simple snapshots. A discount coupon code can be found at the end of the article in the manufacturer notes and you can download a demo that will allow you to see just what you can do with LucisArt before you buy!

So, what have I been up to...

Why is it so hard for me, someone who WRITES for a living, to add to this blog on a regular basis?? I created it originally just for my writing, but it fell to the wayside. So I decided to put some of its focus on my scrapbooking, and I still have not done much!! I am going to though! There, I said it! Well, I wrote it, but that is what I do best!

Ok, ok, what am I going to be doing? For starters, I am going to be offering a FREE .gsd file every so often...maybe once a day, maybe once a week...I need some ideas though. SO, if you are looking for anything in particular, drop me a note here, and I will see what I can do. Oh yeah, for those of you who need it in AI format, I can do those to, so feel free to ask.

My reviews are coming along to, of both the Create and Cut software from Xyron, and a very cool set of filters for Adobe Photoshop and Elements called LucisArt. What I can say now about the filters is WOW! If you have been looking for a way to make your photos on your layouts POP!, be sure to check out my review when it hits the web...Check back here as I will be posting a link to it as soon as it is published!

Create and Cut from Xyron

It's here, it's here! My reveiw copy of Create and Cut Software from Xyron has arrived! I will not have a chance to even load it onto a system until this weekend, but as soon as I do and I give it a fair go round, you can be sure that I will be letting you all know what I think of it!

Big Blue Moose

I thought I would share with you all one of my favorite picture book stories. I wrote this some time ago and it was illustrated by the fantastic illustrator, Kevin Scott Collier.
Blue Moose on the Loose I do not spend near as much time as I would like promoting my stories. No good reason, other than I would much rather spend my time writing or creating than I would sending out manuscripts. I have decided though that this is important, and I will be focusing on getting my words out of their files and onto the desks of those who can help me actually breach the big scary world of publishing!

It's Monday...

I am still waiting for my review copy of Wishblade's Create & Cut software to arrive, but in the meantime, I have a glimpse of the Bind-It-All by Zutter for you to peek at. I fell in love with this binding system the first time I saw it and I think you will too! I had a binding machine previously, but it just did not hold up well at all...This one I have high hopes for.

I am going to be adding a few more links to my list of where to find cutter files too in the coming days, so be sure to check back if you are one of the many looking for files for your Wishblade, CraftROBO or Silhouette Quikutz.
